The Farm

Since 1952, the Los Volcanes brand has been synonymous with the esteemed Antigua coffee region, setting an industry benchmark. Cultivated by premier farms and small-scale producers in Antigua, including Ciudad Vieja and the surrounding volcanic valley, this coffee thrives in mineral-rich, nutrient-dense soil, perfect for producing distinct and exceptional flavors. Rigorous and precise milling and drying practices ensure that each harvest maintains a consistently high quality, preserving the exceptional character of the coffee year after year.

Process & Harvest

Fully washed and patio-dried coffee offers a pristine taste profile with enhanced clarity and pronounced flavors. This meticulous process begins with washing the beans to remove the cherry and mucilage, resulting in a cleaner cup with bright acidity. After washing, the beans are spread on large patios, where they are sun-dried to achieve the perfect moisture content. This traditional drying method contributes to a consistent and high-quality brew, highlighting the bean's natural characteristics.
